I use cedar shavings for my cat litter.  I purchased a bag and left it by the coat rack and came home to thins.

Ollie and his egg

In the Summer of 2010 I bought Ollie the Jolly Egg.  He plays with it every day, but we have to schedule time, and no more than 30 minutes because he rubs his nose raw pushing it around the yard!
Ollie and his Jolly Egg

It's been awhile

It has been awhile since I posted. So much going on with Cassi's wedding in June and then Ben's in September.

Ollie is doing well. Still has an evil side. Since the time change I have not been able to get home until after dark and he has not been able to go out and play with his egg and so he is taking out his energy on the house!

He got into the rabbit's hay

Chris's mouse.

A 2" book he proceeded to rip in half.

A full 2L of Dr. Pepper dragged up on the couch from the kitchen.

Oliver and big brother, Quinn!

After 1st Obedience Class

So relieved! Today when I was driving home from work and poor Ollie's failed his attempt of "general population" and spent most of his day in solitary confinement; all sorts of awful things were going through my mind. Like I would never be able to bring him to a dog show; an aggressive dog is not allowed. He would be kicked out of the AKC for aggression. I worried about going to York with him and not being able to walk down the board walk or go to Perkin's Cove, etc. But Oliver surprised me and was a very good boy! He had a couple potty mouth episodes and I would never trust him, at this point, to go nose to nose with other dogs, but he made eye contact with some and was a good boy. I am happy.

Headed to Basic Obedience Class

So I cannot lie. I am a bit concerned at this point. Oliver is great one on one and with Quinn and Tasha. Not so good with the cat. Shows curiosity then strikes out with his potty mouth.

He was neuter on Monday. All is heeling very well. Last week he went to daycare with Quinn one day and stayed in the day board away from the other dogs because he wasn't fixed. At that point they said he would be ready for daycare have the neuter. (I thought better). So today I dropped him off. They tried a couple times but the handler said he wanted to play "on his terms only" and twice went for another dog's neck so they put him back in day board. I hope we can get this out of him. I am concerned. Hopefully tonight in his 1st basic obedience class he will show some restraint. I have a lot of faith in Ann, I only hope I can handle it. I am determined.
